Abstract

Human resources are needed in improving the quality of the company, because the progress of a company is influenced by employee performance. Improving employee performance is one of them by providing compensation. Compensation is given as a tool to maintain their survival and can meet the needs of their employees. This is also applied in Bintang Jaya Pamekasan Furniture Business. The owner of the furniture business applies compensation to improve employee performance. the purpose of this study is to explain the provision of compensation at Bintang Jaya Pamekasan Furniture Business so that it has an impact on improving employee performance. This research uses qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation.  The results showed that Bintang Jaya Pamekasan Furniture Business applies compensation in the form of financial compensation and non-financial compensation. The provision of compensation in Bintang Jaya Pamekasan Furniture Business is carried out well by the owner so that it has a positive impact on improving employee performance and employees are more enthusiastic in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. This has a very positive impact on improving employee performance.
