Standar Halal dalam Industri Kosmetika dan Perawatan Badan

Halal certification is an important part of encouraging the progress of businesses that produce cosmetic products. Because only products that truly meet the specified standards can receive halal certification. The aim of this research is to identify halal standards for cosmetic products, the implementation and process of monitoring cosmetic products and explain the main issues in the implementation of halal products and the cosmetics industry. This study method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this research are that halal certification can be the answer as a guarantee of the implementation of standards that are in accordance with religious, industrial and business norms. By carrying out halal certification, consumers will have more confidence in the quality of halal products because of the guaranteed implementation of standards. In order to further increase consumer buying interest in products from cosmetic companies, they are required to have halal certification which has been determined by the MUI.
