Peran Wakaf dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Sosial

Waqf is an Islamic philanthropic instrument with substantial potential to improve social welfare within communities. Through productive waqf mechanisms, waqf assets can be optimized as business capital that generates profits for the public benefit. This study aims to analyze the role of waqf in enhancing social welfare by examining various productive waqf models and their social impacts. A qualitative approach with a literature study is employed to gather data and assess the waqf contribution in various social welfare aspects such as education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. The results indicate that waqf holds significant potential in supporting sustainable socio-economic development.
