Pencegahan Pergaulan Bebas Melalui Optimalisasi Peran Lingkungan Sosial pada Siswa Kelas IX SMPN 4 Pamekasan

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of promiscuity among teenagers highlights the urgent need for early educational efforts. This seminar was organized as a contribution from KKN (Community Service Program) students to provide counseling to junior high school students on the dangers of promiscuity and the importance of the social environment in shaping character. The methods employed included interactive lectures, group discussions, and joint reflections involving ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Pamekasan. The results indicated high enthusiasm from the students, as shown by their active participation during the seminar and their increased awareness of the importance of support from families, schools, and communities in fostering healthy social interactions. This activity was considered beneficial and had a positive impact as a preventive measure to protect students from the negative influences of their social environment. It is expected that similar activities will be conducted continuously through collaboration between schools and higher education institutions.
