Abstract

This study analyzes the practice of buying and selling thrift clothes through live TikTokShop and its relation to Islamic business ethics. The main objective of this research is to evaluate the sale and purchase of thrifthing clothes and its implications for the Muslim community. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytical research type, which focuses on aspects of the transaction such as a valid sale and purchase contract, price transparency, and marketing ethics through social media. The results show that most sellers have complied with Islamic ethical principles, such as honesty, transparent pricing, and friendly interaction with consumers. However, there are still sellers who pay less attention to the aspect of blessing in their business. Therefore, it is important for sellers to understand their moral responsibility in doing business so as not to damage their reputation and business sustainability. This research contributes to understanding how live streaming can run fairly and profitably in accordance with the principles of Islamic business ethics.
